Abstract

The article covers the directions of development of small business and private entrepreneurship, the role and importance of small business in the national economy through economic indicators. The advantages of small business and private entrepreneurship in quickly adapting to the market environment, ensuring employment, generating income, and thereby mitigating its inequality, and settling the middle class are revealed. In addition, the concept of small business development focuses primarily on supporting small business entities with existing economic potential, encouraging economic structures operating in accordance with the directions and goals of the republicʼs socio-economic policy, establishing tax incentives for small enterprises producing products of regional importance, expanding the leasing service and investment risk insurance system, and creating conditions for small business enterprises with limited financial capabilities to use bank loans.
