Abstract

Although the tourism sector of Uzbekistan has great potential, there are a number of problems that hinder its effective development. In particular, the insufficient organization of marketing activities to provide tourists with complete information about the tourism potential, the widespread promotion of cultural heritage sites and pilgrimage tourism have a negative impact on the development of the tourism sector. Accordingly, this article develops proposals and recommendations for the use of digital marketing tools in Uzbek tourism.
