Abstract

This study analyzed the economic and financial factors influencing the innovative 
modernization of the railway transport sector. The impact of institutional reforms, 
electrification, digital management, and diversification of investment sources on 
sectoral development was evaluated. National and international experiences were 
comparatively examined. Opportunities for increasing profitability, improving 
operational efficiency, and strengthening the use of transit potential were identified. 
Based on the findings, practical recommendations were developed to accelerate 
modernization processes, improve resource utilization, and enhance the 
competitiveness of the railway transport system.
