STAFF TRAINING AND SERVICE QUALITY PROBLEMS FOR MICE TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
The article analyzes the problems associated with training qualified personnel and service quality in the development of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) tourism in Uzbekistan. MICE tourism has complex organizational and service demand s, requiring specialists with specific knowledge and skills. The article highlights the shortage of specialized MICE -oriented educational programs in higher education institutions, the low level of language proficiency, and service culture as major issues. Furthermore, suggestions and recommendations are proposed for training 399 staff that meet international standards. The study results demonstrate the necessity of improving human resource policies to fully realize the potential of MICE tourism.
