IMPROVING THE WASTE RECYCLING SYSTEM IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article analyzes the current state of the waste recycling system in Uzbekistan, the existing problems, ways to eliminate them and the prospects for the introduction of modern technologies. While the country has undergone a number of reforms in recent years to maintain ecological balance, effectively manage waste and turn them into an economic resource, the system of separation collection, recycling and disposal of waste 194 is still not fully formed. The study examines such factors as the legal, technical and economic aspects of waste handling, the state of the existing infrastructure, private sector participation, low environmental culture among the population. Also, based o n the experience of foreign countries, innovative solutions are offered that are suitable for the conditions of Uzbekistan.
