Abstract

This article examines the role and specific features of innovation-related factors in the formation of fruit and vegetable clusters and the effective management of their activities. In the context of globalization and increasing competition, the objective necessity of organizing production, processing, storage, logistics, and marketing processes in the fruit and vegetable sector within a unified integrated system is substantiated. The organizational and economic aspects of developing vertical and horizontal integration among cluster participants, introducing innovative technologies, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and improving the value chain are revealed. Directive, partnership-based, integrated, and private cluster management models are systematized, and their initiating entities and management methods are comparatively characterized. The necessity of using indicators such as economic growth dynamics, the investment climate, international economic integration, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure, and innovation capacity in assessing the regional economic potential for cluster development is justified. The research findings contribute to improving innovative management mechanisms in fruit and vegetable clusters and enhancing their competitiveness and export potential.
