SCIENTIFIC BASIS AND REGIONAL PRACTICE OF THE EVALUATION MODEL OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EXPORT COMPETENCE OF SMALL BUSINESS
Abstract
The article examines the scientific and methodological foundations for developing and assessing the export potential of small business entities using the case of Surkhandarya region. The study analyzes export volume, the complexity of export structure, the share of processed and high value -added products, and the number of exporting enterprises as key evaluation indicators. Based on regional statistical data for the period 2017 –2024, the relationship between export potential and the dynamics of regional eco nomic growth, employment, and income levels is empirically substantiated. The findings indicate that, alongside quantitative expansion, enhancing the structural and qualitative characteristics of export potential plays a significant role in ensuring sustai nable, competitive, and inclusive economic development of the region.
