SUSTAINABILITY EDUCATION AS A DRIVER OF GREEN ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Abstract
The article examined how sustainability education related to university students’ green entrepreneurial intentions. Literature selection and thematic synthesis were used to analyse relationships involving environmental values, attitudes and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The theory of planned behaviour and the value-belief-norm framework provided the theoretical foundations. The review highlighted the mediating roles of environmental attitudes and confidence in entrepreneurial capabilities. Curriculum design, university support and cultural context were considered as relevant conditions. Practical projects, mentoring and support for green ventures were proposed as educational priorities. Methodological limitations were identified, and longitudinal research was recommended to examine whether intentions translated into actual entrepreneurial activity. Keywords
