Abstract

The article examined the role of startups in the green transition and opportunities offered by circular business models. Literature analysis, international case studies, comparison and conceptual modelling were employed. Freitag, HyaPak, Rheaply and Novoloop illustrated approaches to resource reuse, recycling and digital collaboration. The proposed ZDZ Textile model for Uzbekistan integrated textile waste collection, transport, sorting using artificial intelligence, processing and sales. Opportunities to expand local feedstock supplies and green employment were discussed. Recommendations addressed financial support, university collaboration and waste accounting. Pilot implementation and quantitative assessment of the modelʼs economic performance were identified as priorities for subsequent research and practical validation.
