Abstract

The article examines organizational and economic mechanisms for improving the efficiency of innovation activities through the development of cooperation between higher education institutions and business entities. In the context of the modern knowledge economy, the study substantiates the need for universities to go beyond education and research by actively transferring scientific results to the production and service sectors, supporting startups, commercializing intellectual property, and addressing the technological challenges of businesses. As a result of the study, an integrated university-business cooperation model and a set of indicators for assessing its effectiveness are proposed.
