Abstract

The article examined how controlling technological and logistical losses could improve resource efficiency at a grain processing enterprise. Reports from Toshkentdonmahsulotlari for 2016-2025 informed a method for estimating the economic benefits of loss reduction. Baseline losses were based on expert judgement. Separate scenarios covered full production and operations without manufacturing. Raw material savings were linked to material costs, while potential savings in energy, labour and fixed assets were assessed. Sensitivity analysis examined dependence on assumptions. Stage-specific loss measurement, standards and assigned responsibilities were proposed. The estimates supported managerial decisions on resource use, and the projected nature of the calculated benefits was explicitly acknowledged.
