Abstract

The article examined prospects for introducing digital technologies and Smart Mining into innovation management at industrial enterprises. Drawing on innovation management theories and international experience, it analysed production digitalisation opportunities at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. Applications of the Internet of Things, autonomous equipment, predictive maintenance, digital twins and artificial intelligence were considered. Proposals addressed phased implementation, investment allocation and performance monitoring. Improved energy efficiency, occupational safety and equipment utilisation were discussed as anticipated outcomes. Workforce training, cybersecurity and managerial accountability were identified as implementation requirements. The proposed measures focused on technological modernisation and more efficient use of the enterpriseʼs production resources.
