Abstract

The article examined the theoretical and methodological foundations for integrating circular economy principles and digital marketing technologies in sustainable tourism. The author synthesised the theories of the circular economy, smart tourism and electronic word-of-mouth and substantiated that hotel energy, water, food and waste loops became visible value for tourists through digital communication. A circular-digital integration index and an indicator of tourism exports per arrival were proposed to assess the degree of integration. Official statistics were used to evaluate the dynamics of foreign tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan, their structure in 2025, travel services exports and progress towards the targets of the “Uzbekistan 2030” strategy. A conceptual model combining circular loops, digital marketing tools and institutional support was developed, and proposals on eco-certification, a destination platform and local supply chains were substantiated.
