Abstract

The article examined theoretical and practical foundations for improving material and technical resource management in industrial enterprises. Systems thinking, comparative literature analysis, document content analysis, structural and functional analysis, and conceptual modelling were applied. A closed management cycle linked standard setting, planning, procurement, inventory control, storage, use and recycling. Resource efficiency indicators were systematised. Conditions for inventory classification, order quantity optimisation, timely delivery and digital planning were examined. A mechanism coordinating institutional, methodological and analytical levels was proposed. Recommendations addressed consumption standards, inventory risks and information exchange. The proposals aimed to support production continuity and more efficient resource use across industrial operations.
