Abstract

The article examined the foundations for assessing the impact of innovative technology transfer on the efficiency of industrial enterprises during the transition to circular production. The author compared transfer, absorptive capacity and circular economy theories and treated the transfer effect as a set of resource, environmental and economic outcomes. A system of indicators combining resource productivity, material and energy intensity, the waste recycling rate, labour productivity and return on investment was proposed together with a normalised integral index. Official sources were used to assess the 2025 structure of Uzbekistanʼs industry, the countryʼs position in the Global Innovation Index and the strategic benchmarks of the transition to a green economy. A conceptual model of the transfer chain was developed, and proposals for monitoring transfer efficiency were substantiated. The proposed methodology allows the transition to circular production to be assessed as a factor that raises competitiveness.
