Abstract

The article examined the relationship between regional access to renewable energy and social stratification in Uzbekistan. Systems and comparative analysis identified three potential channels: energy expenditure, additional income, and employment. Official statistics were used to compare per capita incomes across eight selected regions through the Theil index. Solar subsidy distribution across five regions was described using the proposed EQ coefficient. Renewable capacity growth and household support opportunities were reviewed. Proposals addressed regional monitoring, financing for disadvantaged households, vocational training, and community solar projects. The findings provided a methodological basis for jointly assessing renewable energy access and regional household income indicators.
