Abstract

The thesis examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of improving the mechanisms of economic incentives for regional agricultural production based on the criteria of labour productivity and value added. A differentiated incentive approach is substantiated that takes into account regional differences in production potential, resource productivity and economic performance. An assessment mechanism is proposed that integrates the dynamics of agricultural value added and labour productivity with the performance indicators of state support. The analysis was based on Statistics Agency data for 2016-2024 and district-level indicators of Namangan region for 2024. Over this period, agricultural gross value added grew 3.65 times in nominal terms and that of manufacturing 7.52 times, while the growth rate of agricultural output across the districts of Namangan region ranged from 0.1 to 6.4%. The approach supports efficient allocation of budget resources, stronger economic interest of producers and sustainable regional agricultural development.
