Abstract
The article examines theoretical and methodological approaches to assessing transformation processes taking place in modern organizations and economic systems under the influence of technological, institutional, organizational and market factors. The need to move from evaluating individual quantitative results to a comprehensive measurement of the depth, speed, sustainability and effectiveness of transformation is substantiated. Based on an analysis of scientific approaches, the author’s assessment system is proposed, comprising five key blocks: strategic transformation, organizational and process changes, technological transformation, human capital and economic performance. To aggregate the indicators, an integral index of transformation processes is proposed, which makes it possible to determine the level of transformation maturity of the object of study. Analytical data were developed to assess the dynamics of the integral index and the structure of transformation factors. The results showed that technological modernization alone does not ensure a high level of transformation effectiveness; the decisive factor is a coordinated change in strategy, business processes, human capital and the management system. Keywords
